Volleyball Recap: Superior Takes a Loss

Superior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the D.C. Everest Evergreens. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

D.C. Everest found their leader in sophomore Athena Thor, who had ten digs and three aces.

Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Superior didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Eau Claire North on the 26th. As for D.C. Everest, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Chippewa Falls on the 26th.
