Soccer Recap: Liberty Common Comes Up Short

Liberty Common was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Loveland Classical Lions.

Liberty Common's goal came courtesy of Alexandra Medina, which was the first she's scored this season.

Liberty Common's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Loveland Classical, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty Common will venture away from home to take on Campion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campion Academy's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Liberty Common's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Loveland Classical, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 2nd.
