Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jefferson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colorado Academy Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Katerina Shadrach paced Jefferson Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Shadrach got some help from Eliana Huang and her 16 assists. Shadrach also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Neptune, each putting up three.

Jefferson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Colorado Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Jefferson Academy will face off against Peak to Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colorado Academy, they will take on The Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
