Mountain Vista extended their road winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Atreyu (Trey) Armstrong. Mountain Vista blew past the Castle View Sabercats 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Armstrong, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most digs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Mountain Vista not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Castle View between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.
Mountain Vista's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Castle View, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
