Football Recap: Delta Charter Falls to Gustine in First Game of Season

Delta Charter had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Gustine Reds.

Gustine's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9.

The future could be bright for both Delta Charter and Gustine: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Dragons will look to extend River Islands' three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gustine will try to hand Riverbank their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
