Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-37 heartbreaker at the hands of E.L. Haynes.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for E.L. Haynes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season.

Eastern will square off against Dunbar at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. E.L. Haynes has already played their next game (against Washington Leadership Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
