Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Payten Herron stepped things up a notch to give Hackleburg the 'W'. Herron went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The performance marked the most hits she has had over her last five matches.

Herron and Hackleburg will venture away from home to take on Marion County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Raiders thanks in part to Herron: she fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4.
