Baseball Recap: Monson Mustangs vs. Mount Everett Regional Eagles
Monson had lost three straight on the road, but on Sunday they dropped their record down to 7-9 to make it four. They lost 10-0 to the Mount Everett Regional Eagles. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.
As for Mount Everett Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The result was nothing new for Mount Everett Regional, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
For Mount Everett Regional's part, Matt Lowe was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.
