Soccer Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Olympia was not quite Windermere's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Windermere Wolverines by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by just one goal.

Olympia is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3-3. As for Windermere, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympia and West Orange will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Windermere will take on Horizon in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Horizon knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Windermere likes a good challenge.
