Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodland Baptist Christian, Tabernacle Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They slipped by the Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots 53-52. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Tabernacle Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cortlyn Tanner, who posted 20 points. Crash Armor was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Tabernacle Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Fayetteville Street Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Tabernacle Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Tabernacle Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. As for Fayetteville Street Christian, they will challenge Abundant Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
