Baseball Recap: Eastside Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

While Eastside's victory against Spartanburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 8-7. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Eastside's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Spartanburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
