Basketball Recap: Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Takes a Loss

Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] and Highmore/Harrold squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] had to settle for second. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highmore/Harrold Pirates. The Battlers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 55-50.

Despite the loss, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] saw an underclassman step up: freshman FINLEE HEIEN went 9-for-20 to rack up 19 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points HEIEN has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of PEYTON STEVENS, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]'s defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Highmore/Harrold, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highmore/Harrold has already played their next contest (against Herreid/Selby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
