On Thursday, Howard faced Dickinson in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Howard Wildcats managed a 61-56 victory over the Dickinson Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Howard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ronald Handy led the charge by putting up 11 points along with eight boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Baysah, who posted 11 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds.

Howard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Howard's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Dickinson, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Howard has already played their next matchup, a 75-54 victory against Middletown on the 18th. Dickinson has also already played their next contest (against MOT Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
