Sheyenne posted their biggest victory since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past the Fargo Davies Eagles 79-54. The win was all the more spectacular given the Mustangs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Eagles are ranked 11th).

Sheyenne has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points over those games. As for Fargo Davies, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Coming up, Sheyenne will square off against Grand Forks Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Grand Forks Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sheyenne surely won't give up without a fight.
