Softball Recap: Colony Titans vs. San Dimas Saints
Colony had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 2-13 to make it five. They lost 17-5 to the San Dimas Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on April 9th.
Jaden Malaga(2027) was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Khloe Caldera(2027), who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
As for San Dimas, they moved to 12-9-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.
On San Dimas' side, Isabella Martinez looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, San Dimas got a massive performance out of Tiffany Villegas, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
