Softball Recap: Stratford Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Stratford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Bonduel Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stratford pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bonduel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Stratford will be playing at home against Auburndale at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonduel, they will head out on the road to take on Amherst at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last nine games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
