Softball Recap: Crothersville Tigers vs. Waldron Mohawks

Crothersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 22-7 walloping at the hands of the Waldron Mohawks.

For Waldron's part, Alyssa Benson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Benson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Waldron let Brooklyn Hudnall and Destiny Hirschauer loose on the outfield. Hudnall went 3-for-4 with four runs, a triple, and an RBI, while Hirschauer scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
