Basketball Recap: Oktaha Comes Up Short

Oktaha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sequoyah Indians. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 61-51 to them when the teams met back in January of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oktaha's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sequoyah, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oktaha will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Haskell at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Sequoyah also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
