Sycamore extended the longest winning streak in Northern Illinois Big 12 - East this week by beating Kaneland, 31-21. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Spartans.

Morris moved up to 203 from 244 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Redskins climbed the ranks as a result of besting Rochelle 31-28.

Morris' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Griffin Sobol threw for 73 and 1 touchdown and Jake Walker had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Walker chipped in 220 yards. Kyle Hill helped Morris' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.

Walker was a beast in the backfield as Alan Thorson's team beat the Hubs.

Walker was a passing and rushing force as the Redskins bested Rochelle.

Walker was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 220 yards on 25 carries as Morris beat Kevin Crandall's team. Matt Feiden also contributed to the rushing game with 22 yards on the ground.

Morris' offense cannot be tamed this season and the Redskins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sobol has thrown for 615 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Trevor Allbert has 11 catches for 172 yards.

The Redskins' Walker is a mere 19 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 123 carries Walker has put up 981 yards this year.

Two of the top teams in Northern Illinois Big 12 - East will go toe-to-toe this week when Morris takes on Kaneland. The Redskins' offense has recorded 148 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Joe Thorgesen's team has permitted only 91 on the year.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Yorkville takes on Sycamore. The Foxes are currently in third, while Joe Ryan's team is in first.

Morris and the Hubs played the most contested game in the league this week, with Morris eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Walker caught 1 pass for 21 yards in the win.
