Volleyball Recap: Valley Lutheran Comes Up Short

Valley Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Fort Thomas Apaches, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apaches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Valley Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Fort Thomas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Valley Lutheran is set to take on their familiar foe Cicero Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Thomas will challenge rival Ray at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
