Basketball Recap: Cross Roads Takes a Loss

Cross Roads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 102-30 loss at the hands of the Frankston Indians. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1483rd, while the Indians are ranked 498th).

Cross Roads' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Frankston, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cayuga the next time they take the court. Cross Roads will host Cayuga at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Frankston will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th.
