Basketball Recap: Lancaster Baptist Comes Up Short

Lancaster Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Vasquez Mustangs 80-41. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vasquez to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam Wyganowski, who went 6 for 7 en route to 14 points. That's the most points Wyganowski has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Noah Rowley, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points.

Lancaster Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Vasquez, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Lancaster Baptist will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Valley Torah at 5:00 p.m. As for Vasquez, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-46 victory against Faith Baptist on the 25th.
