Basketball Recap: Sandy Spring Friends' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Sandy Spring Friends lost against St. Mary back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildebeests fell 68-60 to the Saints. The loss put an end to the Wildebeests' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sandy Spring Friends fell to 2-1. As for St. Mary's, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Sandy Spring Friends will be playing in front of their home fans against Chapelgate Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildebeests will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Mary's, they have already played their next game, a 72-45 win against Loyola Blakefield on the 1st.
