Softball Recap: Smyrna Comes Up Short

Smyrna made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Stewarts Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Smyrna's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Stewarts Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Smyrna nor Stewarts Creek have any future games scheduled.
