Volleyball Recap: Paradise Valley Comes Up Short

Paradise Valley lost against St. Mary back in September of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Knights.

St. Mary's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annie Wagner, who had seven assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Wagner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camilla Tuipulotu, who had four aces and two assists.

Paradise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Mary's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Paradise Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Peoria on the 13th. As for St. Mary's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Arcadia on the 13th.
