Football Recap: Fulshear Chargers vs. Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders
Fulshear's game on Thursday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (37), the Chargers still had to take the loss.
Fulshear's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryland Forks, who picked up 84 receiving yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaan Patel, who threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt.
John Hebert was his usual excellent self, rushing for 396 yards and four scores while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 47 yards and a pair of TDs for Strake Jesuit. That's the most rushing yards Hebert has posted since back in November of 2024.
