Basketball Recap: KIPP Legacy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

KIPP Legacy lost against Riverside back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The KIPP Legacy Lions took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Argonauts.

Despite the loss, KIPP Legacy still got an impressive performance from Nadiya Abdullah, who posted ten points. That was a full 38.5% of KIPP Legacy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kiera Jackson, who put up five points.

KIPP Legacy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

KIPP Legacy will venture away from home to face off against MTI School of Knowledge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will welcome Irvington Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
