Volleyball Recap: Newtown Nighthawks vs. Masuk Panthers

Newtown faced Masuk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Nighthawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

While Newtown ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19.
