Orangewood Christian faced Hagerty in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 20-25, 25-17.

Kennedy Langmo paced Orangewood Christian's offense, picking up 20 kills. Langmo got some help from Avery Herman and her 25 assists. Langmo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaleigh Langmo, each putting up three.

When it comes to explaining why Hagerty lost, don't look at Allyson Leach. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and three aces. Leach is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Isabella Cruz was another key player, getting 22 assists and five digs.

Orangewood Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Hagerty, they moved to 17-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Orangewood Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Father Lopez on the 14th. As for Hagerty, they will face off against Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
