Basketball Recap: Cedar Bluffs Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cedar Bluffs waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 47-25 margin over the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles. With the Wildcats ahead 33-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Emma Wheelock and Mari Keuck certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wheelock posted ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Keuck earned 12 points. Wheelock has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played.

Cedar Bluffs' victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Omaha Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Cedar Bluffs has already played their next game (against Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Omaha Christian Academy will welcome Omaha Nation on February 4th.
