Recap: Glendale Pirates vs. McKenzie Eagles
The Glendale Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of McKenzie.
Griffin Withalm was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Aytan Brown, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McKenzie, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale will take on Glide at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McKenzie, they will head out on the road to face off against Yoncalla at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
