Softball Recap: McCreary Central Comes Up Short

If McCreary Central was riding high fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Williamsburg last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The McCreary Central Raiders fell just short of the Metcalfe County Hornets by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday.

McCreary Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Stephens, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

McCreary Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, McCreary Central will venture away from home to face off against Pineville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Metcalfe County, they will challenge Glasgow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
