Basketball Recap: Tulia Comes Up Short

Tulia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 46-18 loss at the hands of the Coahoma Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1011th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 175th).

Tulia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Coahoma, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Monahans the next time they take the court. Coahoma will head out to face Monahans at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Tulia will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
