The Lewis & Clark Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Ferris Saxons at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferris took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lewis & Clark, who comes in off a win.

Lewis & Clark was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Shadle Park on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 31-0 win over the Highlanders. The Tigers pushed the score to 24-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Highlanders had little chance of recovering from.

Jack Bruzas was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 80 receiving yards and one TD, and also threw for 80 yards and one touchdown. Ke'Vin Green was another key player, picking up 41 receiving yards and one score.

Lewis & Clark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bruzas and Kendall Kinkade.

Meanwhile, Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of Mt. Spokane. While losing is never fun, the Saxons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 34th).

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lewis & Clark, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Lewis & Clark against Ferris in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
