Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the C.H. Friend Red Jackets 48-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Faith Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-23 back in December of 2024.

C.H. Friend was led to victory by Kohl Orendorf and Gabe King. Orendorf posted 17 points, while King had 14 points.

Faith Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for C.H. Friend, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Faith Christian Academy will face off against Temple Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for C.H. Friend, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-40 loss against Iron Academy on the 31st.
