Columbia Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.38 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 10-4 to the Forrest Rockets. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Columbia Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emerson McAdams, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Carolina Johnson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Columbia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Forrest, their record is now 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia Academy will head out to square off against Providence Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the LIONS at the right time seeing as the LIONS are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Forrest, they will venture away from home to challenge Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
