Ocean Township barely beat St. Rose the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Purple Roses a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ocean Township pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for St. Rose, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Ocean Township has already played their next contest (against Red Bank Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Rose, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-2 defeat against Toms River South on the 20th.
