While DeKalb didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Waubonsie Valley Warriors on Monday. The game was the first time the Barbs have beaten the Warriors on their field since April 18, 2023.
The team relied heavily on Isabel Aranda, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Hazel Montavon was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
