Basketball Recap: Desert Edge Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Desert Edge and Estrella Foothills, and Estrella Foothills kept the tradition alive. The Scorpions were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 77-76 to the Wolves. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (69), the Scorpions still had to take the loss.

Desert Edge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Estrella Foothills, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Desert Edge will challenge Desert View at 2:40 p.m. on Friday. As for Estrella Foothills, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
