Hackensack had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over the Fair Lawn Cutters. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hackensack now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fair Lawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Hackensack will venture away from home to square off against Bayonne at 4:30 p.m. on February 12th. As for Fair Lawn, they are taking a road trip to take on Passaic Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
