Basketball Recap: San Angelo Central Snags Tenth Victory in Last 11 Games

San Angelo Central saw some tournament action on Saturday. They strolled past the Rockwall-Heath Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Despite the loss, Rockwall-Heath saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paxton Ivy went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Turner-Dicus, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

San Angelo Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Rockwall-Heath, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

San Angelo Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-70 defeat against United on the 28th. Rockwall-Heath has also already played their next contest, a 67-45 win against Timber Creek on the 28th.
