Volleyball Recap: Casey-Westfield's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Casey-Westfield had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chrisman Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Madilyn Gelb paced Casey-Westfield's offense, picking up 15 kills. Gelb got some help from Haley Schackmann and her 15 assists. Hannah Schackmann controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Casey-Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Chrisman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Casey-Westfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Salt Fork on the 27th. As for Chrisman, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Red Hill on the 27th.
