Soccer Recap: Uintah Victorious

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Uintah ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Copper Hills Grizzlies. That's two games straight that Uintah have won by just one goal.

Izzie Lawson and Athena Oldham scored both of Uintah's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Uintah and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Copper Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Uintah will take on American Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Copper Hills, they will face off against Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
