Basketball Recap: Immanuel Baptist Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Immanuel Baptist, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Juniata Christian Eagles 37-18 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-12 back in December of 2024.

Immanuel Baptist now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Juniata Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Immanuel Baptist and Juniata Christian's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Immanuel Baptist will face off against Springfield Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 30 points per game. Immanuel Baptist's defense has only allowed 27.9 points per game this season, so Juniata Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. Meanwhile, Juniata Christian and Community Baptist Christian (who has only given up 25.25 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
