Baseball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Crusaders vs. Hershey Trojans
It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Bishop McDevitt ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hershey Trojans, sneaking past 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Trojans back in April, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.
Vince Leoni was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
