Softball Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

Pigeon Forge fell victim to Alcoa and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Tornadoes, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Tornadoes: they've now lost six in a row.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Alcoa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Pigeon Forge will host Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alcoa, they will head out to square off against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
