Volleyball Recap: Moanalua's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Moanalua's tournament run continued when they took on Arbor View on Saturday. The Menehune fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Menehune's undefeated start to the season.

Paydence Manibusan was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 23 assists. Those 23 assists gave her a new career-high. Cameron Reese also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Moanalua fell to 3-1. As for Arbor View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moanalua will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Castle at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. The Menehune are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Arbor View, they are taking a road trip to challenge Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
