Volleyball Recap: Adams-Friendship's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Adams-Friendship hadn't done well against Nekoosa recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Green Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Papermakers. The win was some much needed relief for the Green Devils as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Adams-Friendship walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Adams-Friendship's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kerrigan Danowski led the charge by getting eight digs and six assists. That's the most assists Danowski has posted since September 4th.

Adams-Friendship was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nekoosa only served five.

Adams-Friendship's record is now 8-6. As for Nekoosa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Adams-Friendship wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Abbotsford on the 27th. As for Nekoosa, they will take on Assumption at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
