Volleyball Recap: Locust Grove Has No Trouble Against Jasper County

While Locust Grove didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jasper County Hurricanes on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Locust Grove was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-13.

Locust Grove pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jasper County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Locust Grove will square off against McDonough at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Jasper County, they will take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
