CORVALLIS, Ore. - Dayton (Ore.) snapped Santiam Christian (Corvallis, Ore.)'s 5-game winning streak, with a 32-18 victory on Saturday.

The Pirates were up 20-18 at the half after taking the lead on a Jered White touchdown run in the second quarter.

Dayton expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Forrest Garcia.

White and Garcia ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Eagles. White scored two touchdowns on the ground and Garcia added three as well.

Santiam Christian came in giving up 17.1 points per game this season.

The victory will ease some of the sting of the Pirates' close 31-28 loss to SC last season.

The loss comes after Santiam Christian defeated Horizon Christian 47-14 last week.
